This painting was created in 2023. This year I was looking for a balance between life and desire while going out, and the work turned into lively small-size paper creations.
A lady who was recognized as beautiful. I tried to find other surprises in her beauty, so I painted several in different ways. This is my most common breakthrough technique when I give up thinking.

Creative themes and style | My works revolve around the creative concept of "The land of humanity, People on the land". The people in the painting are people in nature, and the lines, shapes, and colors are close to nature. The nature in the painting is nature in the eyes of humans, existing in interaction with humans.I don’t pursue a series of works with a fixed and continuous style. I hope that the style of the pictures will synchronize with the changes in my life and always remain oscillating. The performance of the work must be in sync with the development of one's own life in order to be Sincere and powerful. Ideas are later.

At its heart, the series revolves around gaze and uncertainty. The eyes function both as windows of perception and as mirrors of emotional ambiguity. Each portrait presents a different register of looking—avoidance, bewilderment, theatricality, quiet introspection—culminating in the final work’s direct and unwavering stare.
The bird operates here as a symbolic image: light, fleeting, and impossible to fully capture. Each gaze seems to harbor an inner bird, shifting with mood yet never completely defined. This elusiveness is what constitutes the sense of the “incomprehensible”.
Early works: Distanced, evasive looks tinged with estrangement.
Middle works (Nos. 5–6): More theatrical and extroverted, imbued with a stage-like quality of being watched.
Seventh work: A quiet turning inward, contemplative and subdued.
Eighth work: A clear, frontal gaze that meets the viewer head-on—a final response.
Taken together, the series traces a path from outer uncertainty → inner turbulence → reflective stillness → direct confrontation.
Closure: The figure finally meets the viewer’s eyes, no longer evasive.
Reversal: The direct gaze offers no answers, instead returning the enigma to the spectator.
Resolution and openness: It both synthesizes the prior works and leaves an intentional blank space—a silence that resists full explanation.
Uniqueness: It uses the motif of the gaze to weave a narrative of evolving perception, from ambiguity to confrontation.
Collecting value: As a complete set, it demonstrates the artist’s sustained inquiry into seeing and being seen, making its value both sequential and developmental.
Exhibition value: Displayed together, the works guide the viewer through a progressive journey, culminating in the powerful shock of being directly met by the final gaze.
