Drive me to her town

78 cm x 108 cm1200 $

This painting was created in 2024. The colors of this year are still bright but not dazzling. I have gradually found a balance point among the bright colors.

I was in the back seat, and the car drove for a long time. Along the way were scenes from her life.No more whispers in there.

Creative themes and style |   My works revolve around the creative concept of  "The land of humanity, People on the land".The people in the painting are people in nature, and the lines, shapes, and colors are close to nature. The nature in the painting is nature in the eyes of humans, existing in interaction with humans.I don’t pursue a series of works with a fixed and continuous style. I hope that the style of the pictures will synchronize with the changes in my life and always remain oscillating. The performance of the work must be in sync with the development of one's own life in order to be Sincere and powerful.Ideas are later.

Take Me to Her Town is a visual carnival about connection and pursuit. In the painting, the flowing colors are like a river of emotions. Elements such as long hair, swimming fish, and a cat break the boundaries of reality, weaving a fantastical narrative through collision. The long hair is like a winding road or a vine of memories. Fish dart through it, and the cat stretches its body. Together, they form a romantic annotation of “pursuit” — there’s no need for a real vehicle; artistic imagination is the boat that carries us to where our hearts long to go.

Colors here are messengers of freedom. The blending of vibrant reds, yellows, and purples dissolves the heaviness of reality. The agility of the fish and the liveliness of the cat, rendered through colors, break free from the two - dimensional plane, conveying vigorous vitality. This vitality is the best footnote to “pursuit”: even if the road ahead is unknown, as long as there’s yearning in the heart, those seemingly nonsensical combinations can all become forces pushing us forward. The extension of the long hair seems to guide the pursuit, and the interaction between the fish and the cat fills the journey with vividness and surprises.

With surreal collaging, the work reconstructs daily perceptions but anchors the most authentic emotions — the yearning for the distance and the enthusiasm for the unknown. It inspires viewers: Art is never a replication of reality but uses imagination as fuel to drive the soul forward. In this painting, “her town” is a concrete distance and, more importantly, an abstract ideal destination. Accompanying fish and cat, with long hair paving the way, each splash of color is the rhythm of a heartbeat, reminding us: Don’t let the regularity of reality constrain imagination. Let the romance of art carry us, fearlessly pursuing the “town” our hearts desire. In the blend of colors and imagination, we’ll harvest surprises along the way, making the pursuit itself the brightest footnote of life.
