Creative themes and style |   My works revolve around the creative concept of  "The land of humanity, People on the land". The people in the painting are people in nature, and the lines, shapes, and colors are close to nature. The nature in the painting is nature in the eyes of humans, existing in interaction with humans.I don’t pursue a series of works with a fixed and continuous style. I hope that the style of the pictures will synchronize with the changes in my life and always remain oscillating. The performance of the work must be in sync with the development of one's own life in order to be Sincere and powerful. Ideas are later.

Artwork Interpretation

This work, Finally Finished That Dance, in terms of content, the dark main color blocks seem to carry complex emotions. The bright yellow “mountains” and “buildings” above break the dullness and create visual tension. In terms of composition, the large area of dark color blocks in the main body occupies the center of the picture, and the bright colors above are distributed in a band - like manner, which is a “non - traditional balance” and guides the line of sight to focus on the conflict between colors and forms. In terms of color, the heavy background color of interwoven dark brown and navy blue, and the embellishment of bright yellow, faint red and green, create a strong contrast between cold and warm, which is the externalization of emotions. The painting style is close to expressionism.

With subjective colors and rough brushstrokes, it abandons realism and conveys inner experiences. The emotional expression is implicit but intense. The depression of the dark color blocks and the release of the bright colors seem to be the liberation and complex moods after a long “dance”, like the “concrete catharsis” of emotions on the canvas. For similar artists, we can think of Zao Wou - ki. He uses colors and abstract compositions to convey the spirit. In terms of the subjective construction of colors and the transmission of emotions through abstract forms, this painting has a common “spiritual expression” path. Through the collision of colors and forms, it makes the viewers feel the emotional aftertaste precipitated by that “dance” behind the painting. It is the artistic condensation of the creator's individual experience, using visual language to tell an indescribable emotional journey.

Why does the center of the canvas rely on such deep, dark tones?

The central area is almost entirely covered in dark blue and black, resembling a silent stage after the dance has ended. The absence of light builds visual tension, pushing the viewer’s gaze toward the distant yellow glow, which becomes the emotional outlet of the composition.

What does the relationship between the yellow glow and the architecture represent?

The yellow radiance surrounding the mountain and architectural silhouettes feels like the lingering energy of the dance crystallized at the edge of night. The vertical forms of the buildings symbolize human order, standing in contrast to the soft, organic curves of nature.

What is the meaning of the subtle green and red accents within the dark field?

The darkness is not pure emptiness—faint touches of green, blue, and red appear like footprints left by the dancer in the void. These traces recall the afterimages of movement, transforming the dance from a physical act into a rhythm of color.

In what kind of spaces would this painting be best displayed?

This work is ideal for display in art museums, theaters, or large private interiors such as open halls. Beyond being a strong piece of abstract painting, it carries symbolic value connected to dance and stage performance, making it a perfect choice for cross-disciplinary art collections between performance and contemporary art.

How does the title “Finally Finished That Dance” resonate with the imagery?

The title guides viewers to connect the abstract colors with the end of movement and release of emotion. The dark tones reflect the fatigue of expended energy, while the distant glow conveys the achievement and relief of completing the dance. Together, the title and the image form a kind of visual finale, like the closing chords of a performance.
