This painting was created in 2018. With the end of the sketching class this year, my sketching journey stopped at a few simple drawings for Miss Hui. Of course, my oil painting skills have also improved a lot in the past year or so, and I have carefully explored my own way of speaking.

Creative themes and style | My works revolve around the creative concept of "The land of humanity, People on the land". The people in the painting are people in nature, and the lines, shapes, and colors are close to nature. The nature in the painting is nature in the eyes of humans, existing in interaction with humans.I don’t pursue a series of works with a fixed and continuous style. I hope that the style of the pictures will synchronize with the changes in my life and always remain oscillating. The performance of the work must be in sync with the development of one's own life in order to be Sincere and powerful. Ideas are later.

A1: The work is dominated by a bright yellow tone, with both the background and the ground enveloped in a golden glow. This creates a strong sense of light and a dreamlike atmosphere, making the interplay between the figure and the tree branches appear distinctly surreal.
A2: The figure is dressed in a red floral-patterned top and loose trousers. While the attire feels casual and everyday, the head is obscured by white branch-like lines, adding a sense of mystery. This concealment blurs the figure’s identity while reinforcing the painting’s symbolic undertones.
A3: The interweaving of the head and white branches dissolves the boundary of reality, symbolizing entanglements of thought, memory, or dream. This surrealist approach transforms the painting from a straightforward portrait into something closer to a psychological landscape.
A4: With its bold colors and unconventional form, the painting is well-suited for display in contemporary art museums, independent exhibitions, or studio showrooms. It is especially impactful in exhibitions highlighting “Surrealist painting” or “conceptual figurative art”, where it offers both visual intensity and intellectual depth.
A5: The piece combines visual tension with symbolic meaning, making it a distinctive example within contemporary easel painting. Collecting it not only secures a work rooted in contemporary surrealist style, but also represents an investment in an artwork that balances decorative appeal with conceptual depth, enhancing the long-term value of private or institutional collections.
